Flatbed towing: I have done flatbed towing since 1982 in Van Nuys, CA. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well let’s not count the words I saved by having these pictures of cars and vehicles I have towed over the years. One of the main reasons I like towing/transportation is all the cool cars I get to hang out with. I have an eclectic taste in cars. I plan on blogging about it in the future. Maybe I will strike a resonant cord with some of you about the cars that have occupied your lives.
Here is a nice older Ferrari. I have towed probably a hundred of these cars over the year. A well-built car. Unfortunately, they don’t do much for me, I am on the heavy-set side. My right leg is over the shifter and that can cause some problems down the road. So when I win the lottery, I am going to be stuck driving a nice tow truck instead and looking forlornly at the pretty yellow Ferrari that I do not fit in.

Here is a 1959 Cadillac used as a picture car. The beauty of Hollywood, looks like the real thing, so it is the real thing. This car is a sedan with the top chopped off. How could they do such a thing. Have you seen the price of a real one. The company that owns this car get the same price whether it is real or not. Mr. fake Cadillac has a better ROI, return on investment than a real one. I hope I am not letting the cat out of the bag, but a lot of things in Hollywood are fake.Placing that beast on my flatbed tow truck is a beast too.
Here is a John Deere tractor. I towed this for a commercial. The tractor is cool and the place I picked it up from was cool. I spent my early teens on a farm in Wisconsin on a farm. You get learn to respect what a farmer has to do for a living. The many tractors that I have towed over the years bring back fond memories. Even for a city kid.
